Westmark is a small private K-12 school located in Encino. NBBJ was tasked with designing a new elementary school building with 10 classrooms, as well as a perfomance space on the lower level. The project uses sustainable strategies and materials throughout including exposed CLT structure, rammed earth walls on the lower level, green roofs at upper terraces, and solar panels on the roofs.
